Warranties, Returns, and Insurance Claims

  1. Glasses Returns: Because glasses are custom made to your eyes, we generally do not refund purchases of glasses. Rather, Dr. Tennant prefers to work with patients on remaking the glasses and making the patient happy. If you have problems adapting to your new glasses, please call the office within 60 days of your appointment for a free follow-up appointment for Dr. Tennant to help you.
  2. Contact lens Returns: Unopened boxes of contacts in like new packaging are returnable within 60 days of original purchase.
  3. Insurance claims: When we verify your insurance benefits prior to your appointment, the insurance companies make a blanket statement to us: “verification of eligibility and benefits is not a guarantee of payment.” Our office will bill you on the day of your exam according to the benefits we have on hand, however you may receive a bill from us once we receive final payment from your insurance.
